Help In The Home
In co-operation with Social Services, Age Concern Portsmouth, by providing help with basic household tasks, (housework, shopping, pension collection) aims to assist older people to continue living independently at home.
With its 66 Home Assistants, it is a reliable, friendly and personal service with over 600 customers who turn to it on a daily basis for support in many matters. They know that if Age Concern's Help in the Home cannot assist it will find someone who can. With its valuable volunteers, who help with time sheet collection and counting processes, Help In The Home plays an important part of Age Concern's contribution to the life of Portsmouth's older members.
